Hi, I’m Aliya, a MassArt Illustration student currently pursuing my BFA in Illustration.

I work primarily in colored pencil, using saturated colors paired with bold thick and thin black lines. I love the balance between control and expressiveness in my work, building rich color while letting strong linework guide the composition.

I’m especially passionate about editorial illustration and portraiture, but honestly, when I’m working in colored pencil, the subject can be anything. What excites me most is pushing ideas visually and turning them into something dynamic and full of personality.

I aim to create illustrations that are vibrant, confident, and creatively bold.
